ANISEED ORGANIC 200g Pimpinella anisum
True anise is a herb in the parsley family. It produces small seeds with a potent licorice-like flavor. Anise is used widely in cooking. It lends its intensely aromatic flavor to sauces, baked goods and liqueurs eg ouzo, and pastries. It is often used as a substitute for licorice with a milder flavour than Star Anise. In traditional medicine Aniseed is used as a digestive and stomach carminative, an expectorant and a parasiticide.
